In this course, we will explore the significance of color in our work. The aim is to deepen and broaden our understanding of color in our artistic language, to develop new perspectives on our usual palettes. Focusing on the work and process of each participant, we will first identify relevant questions and answer them collaboratively in pairs and as a group.
What significance do certain colors have in our individual work?
What significance do individual colors have, why are they important in our artistic language?
How do we react to colors and color combinations, and how do we use them?
How do colors work and coexist in the context of other colors?
How does the interaction between form and color function in our work?
We explore these and other questions in an individual and collective process in which we paint, write and exchange ideas. During this course, each participant will work on deepening their own understanding of color in their work, developing new approaches for its application and thus further developing their own artistic language.
