The seasons in watercolor
From the fresh green of spring to the rich, vibrant colors of autumn – this is where the watercolorist is challenged. Winter: How do you paint the gentle fog or the fine haze that often lies over the landscape in winter? How do we bring the icy cold onto paper?
All this is the subject of this workshop. Getting to know your own creativity, the joy of painting and experimenting, and gaining new experiences are our priorities. We cover all the usual watercolor techniques and deal in detail with mixing colors to avoid dull and dull images.
All techniques are demonstrated in detail and then implemented immediately. In addition, there are lots of tips and tricks from my decades of practice – I don’t have any secrets. Our goal is to paint colorful pictures, not gaudy ones, because gaudy combinations hardly ever occur in nature.
Of course, there will also be detailed, helpful discussions of the pictures. If desired, I can also help with corrections.
Important note:
This course is not suitable for complete beginners. Independent, confident drawing and solid knowledge of watercolors are required.
